“Anyone could have edited this.” That’s the entire cost of discrediting most compliance records in agriculture today. Your VFDs are in one place, your claims in another, your welfare paperwork in a binder for the annual audit — and none of them talk to each other. The audit checks the record once a year. The risk lives in the 364 days it isn’t looking.
There’s a difference between having records and having evidence. A record is something you kept. Evidence is something that holds up when a counterparty doesn’t want it to. Earmark is built to give you the second one.

Most software issues the paperwork and stops. Auditors check it once a year. These three belong to the record itself — and no other livestock platform ships all of them.
VFDs, certificates, renewals, and attestations are drafted by AI and decided and signed by your veterinarian. The AI does the typing; the vet does the judgment — and every AI action is on the audit trail too. Nothing becomes a black box.
Every entry is cryptographically chained to the one before it, and historical edits are refused by the database itself — not just logged. Your records export, and anyone you share them with can confirm for themselves that nothing has been changed. That’s the jump from “trust me” to “see for yourself.”
The moment a pig is treated, a residue test fails, or a housing standard is breached, the affected lot loses its claim eligibility automatically — antibiotic-free and welfare alike. You find out while you can still act on it, not at the plant or in a clawback letter. No one else does this.
